I only got 4 - How lame is that?

So Halloween is my most favoritest holiday ever. Something about too much make-up, obscene amounts of candy, and dressing like a fool... anyway. It is my favorite. Nick and I went to a costume party at a Synagogue in Denver this weekend, so I got my fill... It was a wind-down party from Burning Man, so there were some fantastically disturbing costumes. There was some nudity, and definitely a few people who needed a bath or two. That's neither here nor there though.

Nick and I went to the ballet before the party, so we dressed up and then wore fancy masks to the party. It was a swell time. I'll post pictures - maybe.

Last night I was sooooo excited for trick-or-treaters. We live in a family-friendly neighborhood near the mall, so I totally expected to have at least some cute kiddos in rediculous costumes. Nope. I had 4 - all in their teens. I wanted cute little kids. I wanted the shy teddy bears and princesses... I got two girls in their school colors and two girls dressed as witches. Needless to say, I was bummed. A big frowny face for this year's Halloween.
