Like today - and approximately 5 days of every month.
I started reading again last night. I seem to have forgotten how since I finished Harry Potter 7. I think that I figured nothing could live up to that book, so I didn't even try. Last night in an effort to assuage boredom and to broaden my mind, I started reading "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" by somebody Maguire.... I think.
So far I think I'll like it. It has taken a rather weird twist on the Cinderella story... and as I like weird twists on classics (read: "Lamb: the Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal")... I figure it will at least entertain me a bit. I still can't handle anything too intelligent as far as reading goes... I think my brain's still on strike from college (probably not a good time for me to consider getting my masters...).
..................
Our house is in shambles right now, and one roommate is absolutely displeased with the entire situation. He's very angry about all of it. The downstairs bathroom (his and other roommate's) is mostly missing a wall in the shower.... The good news: the new window has been installed. The bad news: no showering in that bathroom for probably a week. The even badder (yes I just used the word badder, which likely isn't a word, but remember my brain is still on strike) news: this particular roommate takes 2 showers a day. Since Nick and his brother are out of town most of the week, this isn't a problem... yet. It will be by Thursday night. By Thursday night... it will be hell. Four people - one shower - 5 showers a day... boo.
So that's what I have to look forward to. I'm considering going to Casper this weekend for my dad's birthday... and also to avoid the shower issues. I haven't seen my parents in a while, so that would be nice, and it would also be nice to say happy birthday to him on his birthday. He'll be 52. That's weird to me. My parents seem so much younger than they are. It's crazy growing up.
And now I'm done.
